Notably, it now channels its power through the Allison-branded 10-speed automatic transmission, a significant upgrade from the previous six-speed automatic.

This is a substantial boost from the prior diesel-powered Silverado HD models, which produced 445 horsepower and 910 pound-feet of torque. The diesel engine continues to be paired with the Allison-branded 10-speed automatic transmission, ensuring exceptional power and capability.
