Camino real service center review
I've unfortunately found myself returning to this service center repeatedly for the same issue, only to have my concerns dismissed time and again. The lack of resolution eventually resulted in catastrophic failures, including a new transmission and EV battery.
They held my car for an entire month during which little to no progress was communicated. After finally getting my car back, it was disheartening to find that the initial problem persisted.

Horrible dealership, worse communication! Service department needs a reboot. No follow up, and lots of excuses when confronted.
I am so disappointed in this dealership. We have brought our Chevy Suburban here for servicing since we bought it 10 years ago and let me tell you we brought it in for a lot of servicing - we probably bought a lemon - probably spent close to $30,000 in repairs including a new engine. At 10 years this May it did not pass the smog check and we needed a copy of the invoice for the repairs (it still did not pass smog check even after the repairs were done in June). 11/28/2022 I had an appointment for 11:30 and waited around for my truck they didn’t start on my car till 3:00 and I didn’t get my car till 4:10 why so long it’s because the employees sit round talking to each other and not doing their job I’m very disappointed in my service today and I only went in for and oil change that was way to long for and oil change and they was not as busy as they say like I said the employees do more talking than actually working

AVOID AT ALL COSTS .... First new car purchase in my life and probably my last after the experience with this shady dealership. Ordered a brand new 2023 Corvette and waited a year for it. The dealership ran my credit history check 3 months after I’ve got the car from them. They were not authorized by me to do so. After contacting credit bureau I was told that to remove those reports (about 8 new reports in total, when I was having a car for a few months already) I have to request the lender who did inquiries to send a letters of deletion to the credit bureau. Don't waste your time. Trust me, worst experience ever, I should have gone to my local Orange County dealer Connell Chevrolet, there is where they know how to treat people. TBH I had to email the owner at Camino Real so I can get my truck back and return the one I financed. I am thankful for that though.
Have my car in their shop twice for the same problem (pop noise in rear spoiler area), First time did a mickey mouse job, they removed the spoiler and throw away two bolts and two clips!!, and loosen the screws on the spoiler as well. Pop noise is gone but instead the rattle noise come because they've loosen and throw away some bolts and clips to keep the spoiler secure! It still took them a whole week!. My alarm on my vehicle started to act up out of nowhere. We took it to the dealer because I had extended warranty. Have only the best to say of our sale experience with Sara McKinny which was the best we have experience bar none, BUT Service writer Trini Sanchez nullified that by having the worst customer service manners I had experienced in a long while. The dealership service department appears to be padding service bills and charging customers for un-needed service work the dealership has no intention of performing. Marci was able to obtain the vehicle I wanted with colors and options exactly as requested. And she did so with professionalism. Unlike other dealer experiences that I have had, it was a true pleasure to receive Marci's phone calls. Although, the dealership is a bit out of the way for me, I look forward to my next purchase here.
Fernando is very helpful when I had my car for services recently. He had some one fixed my Backmirro And rub problem on the truck before the expiration of my two warranty ends. The whole process, he was friendly and professionally. I recommend him highly.
I leased my 2014 Chevy Cruze Turbo Diesel from Camino Real. That whole process was unprofessional and unorganized. I was even asked to come back and resign a new contract after the vehicle had been delivered to me.
Every time I come for service, it takes a minimum of 2 hours for the simplest of procedures. Tire rotation, exhaust fluid refill. 2 hours. Even with an appointment. People without appointments had their vehicles serviced before mine. They spend 20 minutes just putting your info into their system. What a waste of time. Drove in with my truck not running 100 percent before it even made it to the workshop the problem was identified and solved, and just to make sure the truck left running they had a mechanic check everything was in good running order

I had a great experience on my visit but Saturday is a real busy day I would recommend to schedule your appointment any other day than Saturday unless you arrange with someone to be pick up. I had the best costumer service I've ever experience here. Max Fernandez is so professional and makes sure you understand everything he makes you feel welcome.
I leased a 2014 Chevy Cruze Turbo Diesel from Camino Real. Customer service is non-existent here. They rush you in and rush you out. When setting up an online appointment, they send an email promising a customer service rep would reach out to schedule, but that hasn't happened twice now. Their salesmen are vague and leave out any information they can that might hurt their sale. Their mechanics have little to no knowledge on the newer diesel engines which only leaves me to assume they aren't properly trained. Brought my van for inspection. 108 $ to get an estimate and a 21 point check, would be included towards repair. Expensive but I agreed since I wanted the car to be checked by a certified mechanic (the least I expect). Service department personnel need to revamp their customer service skills and the manner in which they handle their customers' vehicles. I cannot complain of their technicans' mechanical aptitudes, but the condition in which they return your vehicle to you is deplorable. On 4/21/12, I took my GMC Sierra in for service. Service experience anything but optimal. Took 2010 Tahoe (becuase of some minor body/molding defects) and was told they only due basic minimal service on Saturday. Purchased my 2010 Camaro I am totally satisfied by the whole experience. Went to many other dealers in Socal but did not receive the same experience. I highly recommend Camino Real Chevrolet. I was not pressured at any time during the purchase process and was informed about the all of the vehicle features.
Went in today to look at a 2010 Camaro.........this delearship showed a good inventory per chevy.com and after my visit I can share why. They have the cars in stock marked $5000.00 over MSRP in this economy. Dont even waist your time looking for a deal there.
